Founded in 2007, Cha: An Asian Literary Journal is the first and currently only Hong Kong international English-language Asia-focused free-access literary journal.
New reviews, essays, exclusive pieces, special features, and First Impressions are published on this site. You are welcome to pitch your ideas by sending an email to tammyho@asiancha.com. We are also accepting submissions for the ongoing sections En Route, XI XI—Can We Say, Auditory Cortex, and Write to Power on the journal’s first website. Hong Kong Protesting is a project affiliated with Cha.
Cha is edited by Tammy Lai-Ming Ho (Editor-in-Chief, Founding Co-editor, Reviews Editor & Translation Editor), Jeff Zroback (Founding Co-editor), Eric Yip (Poetry Editor), Nicole Liu (Fiction Editor), Lian-Hee Wee (Special Editor), Eddie Tay (Reviews Editor), and Lucas Klein (Translation Editor).
