If you wait long enough outside the Norman Castle, you’ll witness a long drowsy cloud snailing pass, transforming a white window into blue.

Look at us closely, we are all faceless readers, engulfed in books. Location: The Chaucer Bookshop.

Perhaps a zipper, or a thermometer, or a vagina, can be opened to reveal ‘the scribble of brown twigs on a blank sky’ (Walcott, The Prodigal).

It must be a miracle. Glasses become stained. Location: Canterbury Cathedral.
